This week I have been writing about a team of photographers who finds the biggest crocodile in the world and try and take its picture for the museum. please leave a comment.
Crocodile
He arrived at the surface of the water and took a refreshing breath of air.
Whilst keeping his body completely still, he glanced around the swamp with
large, circular, green eyes.
After several moments, he slipped his enormous body beneath the surface
of the water once again, and slithered off in search of food.
His green hard sharp skin moved smoothly across the water.
It was a saltwater crocodile. He was 55 years old and was 6.17m long.
It looked like it was around 855Kg. The croc moved fast.
I had to move with him or I would lose him.
I used my spear and I walked to the river but it chased
me and I ran for dear life! I outran him and went back to my
house in the woods. I was a photographer and I wanted to take his picture.
I called my team of photographers to help me on this journey.
He could be anywhere right now in the big stream. the ocean, a lake nearby.
So I need the help of friends. We got everything in place so we could take
a picture of the big guy and put it in the record book and the museum in
Western Australia.
The hunt for the crocodile
We headed downstream by the nearby river and we were searching for hours.
We even ended up looking at 7 different streams, lakes and beaches.
But we realized it was not a saltwater crocodile it was a freshwater
crocodile and it has lived for 1023 years and it is humongous.
After a while of research we found a way to find the crocodile,
we had to lay dead animals and wait so we went to buy animals off from hunters
and laidThe photo them down in the woods and know we waited it could take
days for it to come everyday we would walk to another spot and wait another
day.
23 days later
We found the crocodile and we snuck threw some bushes and placed the bait
by the river. We decided to climb a tree so the crocodile couldn’t catch us.
After a while he creeped up to the bait and we got ready for the picture,
then snapped it to a perfect picture. We thought the crocodile was going
to keep eating but he decided to have us for lunch instead. I knew we were
going to be here for a while.
Lunch time
It has been hours since we were trapped in the tree and we are starving.
I thought we were goners, only if we had a miracle we could be saved.
I prayed like I’ve never done before I was intimidated by the Croc.
( That's my nickname now) The breeze blew from the southeast and I was cold,
sad and scared. I was dreaming about my cozy chair and my nice warm fire
and how it helps me relax and calm down about all the dreadful moments of
that day. Croc left us alone and it was a big relief I thought I would not see
my family again. The crew hoped down and we went into my house and we fed
up and got warm. The following day we went down to the museum and told the
manager about the experiment, and the Crocodile. He said he would put it in
the record finding section in the middle of the Museum. We went to one of
the most famous photography
clubs in the whole country and they excepted all of us.
4 years later
After a couple of years we were one of the most famous photographers
in the world and we are happy. So till next time see ya.
Kia ora I am writing about sometimes when I was resilience. please comment on a time when you were resilience.
I remember a time when I showed resilience. I was at a rugby game and my team was down and I showed resilience by checking if he was okay.
